Institute of Metabolic and Cardiovascular Diseases (I2MC, UMR1297)
The Institute of Metabolic and Cardiovascular Diseases (I2MC) is made up of 11 research teams and 6 technology platforms, with a total staff of 280 people. Scientists and clinicians work on metabolic risk factors (obesity, diabetes, and dyslipidemia) and their cardiovascular complications (vascular diseases, thrombosis, atherosclerosis, heart failure, and kidney failure).

Job description
Main mission
The recruited person will be responsible for setting up and developing specific freezing/thawing protocols for human adipose tissue biopsies with a view to establishing cultures for applications in organoids and/or organs-on-chip
Main activities

Develop, establish, and adapt freezing and thawing protocols for human adipose tissue biopsies

Analyze cell viability and functionality

Develop organoid and adipose lobule cultures on chip

Process and present results

Ensure technological monitoring and exchanges with collaborators

Work schedule may vary depending on the time of biopsy reception

Possible knowledge transfer with collaborating teams (Paris/Nantes)

Expérience souhaitée : une expérience professionnelle n’est pas obligatoire mais une formation par alternance par exemple est un plus.
Niveau de diplôme et formation : Diplôme de niveau bac +3 requis.
